Cyworld在韓國讓90%的十八九歲至二十出頭的年輕人都沉迷了好一陣子,在南韓靠販賣虛擬物件及加值服務的營收就高達一億美元,獲利高達一千兩百萬美元。挾著這個光環及滿滿的荷包自去年以來已進軍中國及日本,今年初也落地台灣。或許看不過MySpace在北美的鋒頭太旺,Cyworld也以揮軍進入北美,由於兩者的服務內容挺不一樣的,特別是Cyworld封閉式的環境提供較安全的線上活動空間,加上可愛的圖樣,或許會吸引比MySpace年紀更小的族群吧。
