Google自從在推出地圖街景搜尋服務後，引起了不少
侵犯隱私權的騷動，因此考量日本的房子及圍牆比較矮等因素，日前決定將攝影機高度降低40公分，並且推出熱線電話讓人申請去除不想給人看到的特定影響，例如門牌、車牌等。另外，相反地如果你想要Google街景攝影車到私人區域拍攝的話，他們也打造了一台三輪攝影車，到你家的百年大宅裡面拍個清楚分享給世人。
